Compensation Team Lead

We are delighted to be supporting one of biggest names in global financial services in their search for a Compensation Team Lead (VP level). This newly created role will lead the EMEA Compensation team, who support the management of compensation, regulations, reporting and planning across a workforce of c8,000 staff. These teams provide specialist technical expertise, advice and support to a variety of crucial regional processes and this role will primarily support on all cash compensation matters, particularly with regard to managing the year-end total compensation review process and management of monthly accrual processes. Key duties will be split between managing this large team (overseeing daily activities, maintaining relationships with onshore/offshore Service Centres, setting the strategy and tracking outcomes etc.) to designing and implementing compensation solutions to address challenges faced by stakeholders within regulatory parameters, whilst ensuring the EMEA approach aligns with US & APAC to achieve global harmony. As a result, the business is looking to meet senior reward experts who enjoy the aspects of compensation design and delivery together with managing a large team to ensure a large, distributed client base are expertly supported. Key qualities are: proven compensation experience gained within international financial services; responsibility for coaching and developing teams of Reward specialists and analysts; expertly deploying these assets to ensure each compensation review completes on time with all associated reporting and communications.
