HR Assistant: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract. Dorking. Hybrid working on offer (1 to 2 days in the office)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR Assistant to join an established and reputable organisation in Dorking. This will be a 12-month Fixed Term Contract to cover a period of maternity leave. As the HR Assistant you will report into the HR Manager and will work as part of a small close nit and hardworking team. You will act as the first point of contact for all HR queries across the UK business, providing advice and guidance covering the full generalist remit including administration duties. This is a pivotal role where you will provide direct administration support to core functions of HR including recruitment, training, employee relations and Payroll.
The HR Assistant will be accountable for generating professional and accurate documentation including offers and contracts, maintaining the HR system to ensure all data is accurate and up to date, provide advice on all Employment Relations issues and escalate if required and support with administration of investigations for disciplinary, performance and grievance procedures. In addition, you will also be responsible for supporting with annual company-wide processes such as pay reviews, remuneration projects and performance reviews and will assist the processing of payroll each month.

The successful individual will have gained exposure in a busy HR function, have the ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner and have general employment law knowledge.
