£60,000-£65,000 + 10% Bonus, Private Medical

Hybrid working - City of London office - Near Liverpool st

Line Management

This established organisation has developed the HR Department from scratch over the last 18 months and are now looking for a solid pair of hands to take ownership of the operational delivery of HR Services and employee engagement.

Reporting directly This role will suit an individual from an SME organisation SUB 150 head count and international experience would be desirable.

Main duties

      • Manage a HR team of two
      • Provide advice to senior colleagues and the executive team on people-related topics
      • Ensure delivery against recruitment targets
      • Manage the relationship with benefit providers
      • Ensure colleague engagement remains high by running frequent surveys and delivering action planning sessions to drive improvements
      • Provide reports and key people metrics to the executive team
      • Manage cyclical people events, such as pay review, appraisals (PDR) and bonus
      • Ensure people policies are kept up to date and in line with any regulation changes
      • Ensure key training activities are undertaken by colleagues
      • Support on any ad-hoc people initiatives as directed by the executive team
      • Manage any employee relations issues, including redundancies and organisational design programs
      • Support on any people M&A activities
      • Manage people communications
      • Oversee the payroll process and any people changes
      • Any other duties as directed by the executive team

Experience

      • Previous experience as a HRBP or HR Manager
      • CIPD qualified
      • Line management experience
      • Desire to work operationally within HR, with some strategic input where required
      • Experience working within a small/scaling/start up environment would be beneficial
      • Experience leading HR projects (redundancy, org design, M&A activities)
      • Experience within financial services is a plus
      • Excellent communication skills
