I am delighted to be working with one of Bath's most prestigious employers to help them recruit an HR Advisor on a 12-month fixed term contract. Working within a complex matrix environment, this role offers the opportunity to support multiple business areas with all HR generalist activity as well as supporting on various HR projects and initiatives across the organisation.
My client offers a hybrid working model of 2 days in the office along with a competitive salary and benefits package.
As the HR Advisor you will report into the HR Business Partner and will provide all HR advice and guidance to line managers and employees throughout your designated business area, you will develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders and line managers, coaching and mentoring them on all people related tasks and issues. As the HR Advisor you will have proven success within a similar role, you will be confident with an impressive skill set of managing various Employee Relation case work to include grievance, disciplinary, sickness absence and performance management, as well as having up to date UK employment law knowledge. You will ensure all HR policy and procedures are up to date in line with current legislation and will provide various HR reports for your business units identifying trends and managing issues in line with the organisations current policy.
To be successful in this role you will be working within an advisory capacity looking for your next challenge or looking to take the next step in your career. You will be a self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills and unfazed by demands of multiple stakeholders. You will demonstrate fantastic interpersonal skills, be a proactive team player with good commercial acumen and will work with clear and business focused outcomes. You will ensure you deliver an efficient and effective HR service whilst also supporting your HR Business Partners. Ideally you will be CIPD qualified with an impressive work history of operating as an HR Advisor.
