Newly created Culture, DE&I Manager
Rare opportunity, prestigious Lloyds Syndicated firm
City based with hybrid

I am exclusively partnering with a prestigious Lloyds Syndicated Insurance firm with offerings to the market within unique underwriting along with an Ultra HNW customer base, backed by one of the largest global insurers, supplying more than £2 billion of underwriting capacity to the Lloyd's market. The business has gone through a period of change and are on a journey to ensure they have in place a best-in-class HR offering that is fit for purpose now and into the future. As such they have created a Culture, DE&I Manager to bring in capability and expertise in this space to contribute to the HR change roadmap.

Reporting into the Senior HR Manager, L&OD, the role will focus on driving all things 'Culture, DE&I' ensuring that an employee experience lens is also applied to each touch point across the HR lifecycle. Whilst some work has started, a big agenda awaits! You will need to take a strategic view of the landscape, in alignment with the firm's direction, to translate into a Culture, DE&I agenda but should also be prepared to roll up your sleeves to get things done. There will be a shared resource, however. This is an exciting time to join the business and carve out a role to add measurable value not only at a firm level but at a local level impacting all employees.

To be successful in this role, you will have in-depth expertise and be a subject matter expert across the Culture, DE&I space having worked in a similar role. You would have created and executed on DE&I initiatives to embedment across the firm and achieved successfully. You should have experience of pulling together submissions for board papers as this will be a requirement of the role with the highest level of attention to detail. You will be able to think big picture but be pragmatic and hands on, bring credibility to build relationships quickly, have a curious mindset, be creative, challenge the status quo and influence C-Suite for outcomes. Whilst this is a highly visible and key role to the firm you must also be a team player as the team are highly collaborative and work towards the same vision. You will have a bachelor's degree in HR, psychology, organisation development, or another relevant field.
