I am working with an organisation based near Bridgwater that are looking to recruit a HR Business Partner on a fixed term contract for 12 months.
This is a fast paced and challenging role working within an industry which is heavily regulated, where health, safety and the environment is at the forefront of everything they do. As the HR Business Partner you will report into the Site Director and take full responsibility for all operational HR advice and guidance at the site. This is a standalone HR role, where you will support leadership teams with the appropriate tools and knowledge to effectively manage and develop their employees in line with business needs. Headcount you will support will be circa 150 people. You will enjoy working as a true generalist, covering resourcing, learning and development, reward, performance, absence, employee relations and talent management. It's a busy fast paced, unionised environment where know two days are the same.

To be successful in this role you will be working at a similar level ideally within heavy industry or manufacturing. You will be able to demonstrate your expertise as a true HR generalist and will be driven and ambitious to develop within your HR career. Your experience of contributing to process improvement that has brought real benefits to individuals and the organisation will be of real interest to my client along with your understanding of current employment law and what the business needs to do to mitigate risk. Any experience of change management within a unionised environment will be a huge benefit. My client is looking for someone who is forward thinking and can challenge current thinking, alongside the ability to add vigour and new ideas. This role is located near Bridgwater and due to location you will need to be a car driver.
