You’ll take the lead on some of the most vital strands or our organisation’s work: developing a workforce strategy that enables us to maximise the talent and realise the potential of our people; a digital strategy to equip them with the tools they need to excel and to make us more accessible to our customers; and a business-wide strategy and performance framework that enables us to measure progress against our key priorities and embed continuous improvement in all that we do.
We’re looking for a proven HR & OD leader, who can draw on accomplished people and programme management skills to bring about cultural and operational change. We expect that you’ll be professionally qualified (MCIPD) and that this will be further enhanced by a formal accreditation in project / programme management. You’ll already be operating at a senior level in an organisation of comparable complexity, and will be accustomed to reporting at board level. It’s important that your HR/OD skills are backed up by practical experience of delivering digital transformation and strategic ICT system development. And in an organisation that believes its diversity is one of its strongest assets, you’ll need to assure that you can continue to promote and celebrate the depth and breadth of perspective and experience that this adds to our work.
