L&D Consultant

My client, a boutique professional services business based in the city is hiring a Learning and Development Consultant on a contract basis for a period of 9-12 months.

This is a newly created role and the first ever role in L&D within the business.

The role requires an experienced L&D professional to run a deep dive review into existing processes and practices then formulate an all-encompassing L&D programme. You will be responsible for the inception, design, development and roll out of a new learning function.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Development and maintenance of training materials
  • Design and standardise career pathways
  • Standardise objectives, goals and development milestones
  • Organize, and manage logistics, for monthly new orientations, leader training, and customised training for targeted groups
  • Training impact assessment, reporting, and planning

Qualifications required:

  • You will have extensive project experience rolling out new L&D programmes
  • Strategic L&D / Training background
  • Strategic or high end programme design experience with an emphasis on cultural awareness and integration
  • Good communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work in team as well as independently
