Hybrid working & Hounslow / Heathrow office location

Working for a logistics business with around 1200 employees in over 20 countries, this is an exciting interim opportunity reporting into the Head of HR.

Working from the office in the Heathrow area 3 days a week and the other 2 days from home. The role is to provide a proactive advice and guidance HR service to support the implementation of people and business objectives across the whole UK business.

You'll be a driven individual and keen to grow the role, which will be welcomed by the business.


  • Provide advice and support on all ER case work (Disciplinary, Grievance, Capability) ensuring compliance against policy and processes and resolutions are found in a timely manner.
  • Work alongside the HR business partner in delivering engagement initiatives and tracking/ reporting on engagement levels
  • Support managers through the annual performance process, developing training plans and supporting manager on performance improvement issues
  • Co-ordinate and manage projects that support the business objectives
  • Oversee and support the induction and onboarding process for new starters

Skills and experience

  • Strong HR knowledge and previous generalist background with ER experience
  • Experience of day to day working with HRIS systems
  • CIPD qualified or desire to qualify
  • An attitude to work at pace, adapt to a busy workload and be extremely organised
