Learning and Development Manager

I am assisting my client with their search for a Learning and development manager who will join the business, reporting to the Senior Learning and development manager with a dotted line into the Head of Workplace Services and Legal Support. The role will support them with the design and delivery of the firm's global Legal Support Services Professional Development and Talent Management Programmes.

The Learning and development manager will build excellent relationships with internal key stakeholders as well as external training providers. The role will also include scheduling, organising and administrating programmes.

Working within the global Learning and development team you will support all the training initiatives and provide clear practical advice of the highest standard to their clients as well as a range of training programmes and events to ensure the business services and legal support staff are kept informed and abreast of legal innovations and the necessary skills required for them to conduct their roles with confidence.
It will be the responsibility of the Learning and development manager to ensure the career development framework is reflective of what is required of the multiple levels of the legal support function. They will also be required to work closely with the HR Business Partners and Legal Services managers to identify team and individual training and development needs.

This is an exciting opportunity that will have you creating bespoke programmes whilst identifying the best value trainers and consultants to assist you to deliver the training and managing an effective budget to meet these requirements.
It is imperative that you can show proven experience within a learning and development role, and preferable within a partnership or professional services environment with international experience.
You would also need to showcase experience of successfully designing, delivering, and scheduling training seminars.
It is essential that you have a good working knowledge of MS packages whilst being proficient with IT and LMS systems.
