Payroll & Benefits Assistant - £30,000 - £35,000 + Bonus & Benefits- City of London

Frazer Jones are delighted to be supporting a leading Law firm in the recruitment of a Payroll & Benefits Assistant on a permanent basis.

This role will be working alongside another team member and dealing with the payroll population for the firm.

Our client is offering Hybrid working.

The role:

  • Processing monthly Payroll including RTI and posting Payroll Journals.
  • Administering the day to day duties for UK payroll from start to finish including starters, leavers, SSP, SMP/alabaster calculations, SPP, SAP, ShPP, auto-enrolment and pension management etc. Manual calculations alongside systems when needed
  • Ensuring Day to day Payroll tasks are completed in line with monthly deadlines.
  • Processing month end and year end reports.
  • Payroll reconciliation.
  • Working closely with the wider HR and finance teams.
  • Liaising with benefits and pensions providers.
  • Updating monthly content on the firms benefits platform.

Skills required:

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of UK Payroll and pensions.
  • Experience to manual payroll processing
  • Strong excel skills.
