HR Operations Manager (14 month FTC)
Are you or have you been a standalone HR Manager? Looking for a new opportunity in a boutique business?
My client, with a headcount of 50 employees, is in the market for an HR Operations Manager with capability to work in a hands-on capacity to support a demanding client group.
The HR Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day HR activity as well as providing support to and leading strategic initiatives when required and appropriate.
As a prerequisite, you must have previously held responsibility for all HR Operations and have worked in a small firm where you are the key decision maker within HR. Alternatively you could work in a mid tier firm reporting into the Head of HR but owning the Operations process.
The HR Manager role will be varied and busy and as a small team, there will remain the need to manage the operational side of the role.
This is an exciting time to join the business as they look to grow within the UK but also overseas. You'll be working with stakeholders across the business and use your extensive experience to advise, influence and motivate at every level and for challenges across the HR spectrum.
You should currently be working at HR Manager or Senior Manager level in what is a generalist role, without support from centres of excellence.
It would be great to see experience of working within a rapid growth environment, with an understanding of the journey and challenges that come with expansion.
It's also important you have a balanced skill set covering business as usual duties as well as projects.
International experience would be highly desirable but isn't a prerequisite.
This is an urgent hire and while it has initially been released on a contract basis there is a strong chance it will convert into a permanent position.
