I'm currently working with a fast growth fintech start up on their search for a HR Manager for the UK & Ireland (c.70 employees and growing). This will initially be a standalone role in the region but you will partner closely with the wider global HR team in the US and Europe.
This is a truly generalist role. As HR Manager you will develop and implement HR policies and processes, develop training, lead on employee relations and work with leadership on organisational planning and people strategy. As you will be standalone in the UK you'll need to be comfortable working autonomously and you must be happy to roll up your sleeves as well as operate strategically.
You will work very closely with the wider global HR team on global projects such as employee engagement and talent development. It is a very collaborative team so you'll need to be a team player.
I am looking for a confident HR generalist who has proven experience working for an FCA regulated company. You will have excellent employment law knowledge (ideally across Europe) and a passion for the fintech industry. You will need to be forward thinking and able to find creative solutions to problems and you'll need excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills.
The role will be London based (2-3 days a week) and the rest of the time you will be able to work remotely, however you will need to be able to travel to their office in Brighton at least a couple of times a month.
Salary: £65-80,000 + benefits
