Technical Data Culture Analyst

Out client, an InsurTech firm, is looking to hire a technical analyst to sit within the Data Culture team to assist in the formation and implementation of the right data culture. 
 
Key Responsibilities

- Work across the business to identify Critical Data Elements (CDEs) and associated ownership/accountability roles along with their definitions, lineage and controls
- Be actively involved in data domain working groups with business stakeholders to understand key data challenges and requirements
- Maintain master and reference data within the Convex tools, ensuring they are up to date
- Contribute to improvements in data management tooling
- Work closely with the Data Architects and Engineers to assist with business

Essential Skills:

- Experience in data catalogue/metadata management
- Good understanding of data architecture and data modelling
- Hands-on experience on querying and extracting data from SQL, Athena databases and APIs
- Good data quality or similar level data analysis experience required
- Strong analytical and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with diverse stakeholder groups to drive consensus and deliver outcomes
- Self-motivated and able to handle tasks with minimal supervision
- Ability to effectively report progress and provide transparency to stakeholders
