This UK based Law Firm are looking to find a brilliant HR Business Partner to join them to cover a period of maternity in the team. This role will support across both fee earning client groups, and business services client groups which will total approximately 150 people. To be considered you must be able to demonstrate experience of partnering with a client group, ideally in an partnership model.This role will be responsible for all generalist operational HR matters for approximately half of the firm's fee earning and business services' divisions. It will also assume responsibility for leading and delivering key strategic HR projects as well as day to day management of a HR Assistant and Compensation and Benefits Advisor.
Responsibilities will include:
Providing HR advice and guidance to partners, managers and employees in a professional, responsive and culturally appropriate manner on all aspects of the firm's processes and procedures.
Guide and advise partners and managers in identifying and managing performance issues.
Helping create and nurture a supportive and employee centric well-being culture to retain and develop the firm's most talented people.
Ensuring all HR policies, systems and processes are modern, fit for purpose.
Taking an active part in the firm's annual salary review and bonus processes, making recommendations as appropriate.
Providing guidance and advice on employee relation and staff wellbeing issues. Supporting the resolution of any issues which arise effectively and in accordance with current legislation, ensuring consistency and best practice.
Take on responsibility for any assigned project work and deliver this on budget and within agreed timeframes
