A leading global law firm is looking for a Senior HR Manager to join their London team. The Senior HR Manager will look after a UK population with additional responsibility for a continental European entity. They will work in close partnership with the wider global HR team and centres of excellence, and be responsible for shaping and delivering key strategic people priorities for their practice group.
Act as the primary HR contact for the Division Head on all people related matters
Work with the resourcing team to advise business leaders on commercial resourcing requirements and new ways of working.
Provide advice and intervention on complex employee relations issues, acting as a mentor and guide to the wider Business Partner team in EMEA, and escalation point for business line HRBPs.
Provide leadership and guidance relating to the appraisal process, performance management and moderation meetings
Ensure the annual remuneration process is delivered effectively and on time, facilitating relevant remuneration and bonus discussions linking compensation decisions to performance and ensuring relevant market information is taken into account.
Support the identification of training and development requirements and work with the L&D team to design and deliver relevant development initiatives.
Champion diversity and inclusion in line with firm objectives
Analyse and present relevant HR data to provide information around latest thinking and market intelligence using regular HR reports.
Extensive experience as an HR Manager / HR Business Partner ideally gained within a professional services environment
Track record of building trusted advisor relationships, able to deliver high quality strategic HR support
Experience of being a process or project lead in a matrix organisation
Agility: to be able to move seamlessly between high level strategic discussions and operational delivery
Solid UK and European employee relations experience
Excellent negotiation skills
