HR Business Partner

The purpose of this HR Business Partner role is to manage the HR activities in a region within the UK to ensure that a professional and valued service is offered to internal customers. Reporting to the Head of HR, this is a standalone role so will require a high degree of independence.

Description

As the HR Business Partner, key responsibilities will include:

  • Driving performance to ensure that business goals are met or exceeded
  • Building long term customer relationships with effective communication enabling continual improvement to future service
  • Managing employee relations within the given region
  • Ensuring that effective performance management is demonstrated and that managers are supported in gaining value from their teams
  • Managing business change effectively and ensuring that re-structuring is completed on time and to budget
  • Supporting and managing specific HR projects as they arise

Profile

As the successful HR Business Partner you will have the ability to:

  • Successfully engage with key stakeholders in progressing specific and important business issues
  • Take decisions in uncertain situations, or based upon incomplete information where necessary
  • Address change resistance successfully and engage people fully in the change process
  • Resolve disruption and conflict through communication, mediation, consultation and negotiation
  • Take the lead in complex discussions/negotiations
  • Understand risk within negotiation and persuasion and take appropriate decisions to mitigate them
  • Persuade others through personal credibility
  • Proven experience in a HR Business Partnering, preferably multi-site role
  • Minimum CIPD qualified, ideally degree qualified
