People Services is committed to providing The Open University with high quality people solutions and is valued for its efficiency, expertise, partnering capability and service. We are looking for an organised, proactive Reward, Benefits and Performance Adviser to join the People Services team on a fixed-term basis.

As a Reward, Benefits & Performance Adviser, you will help contribute to the implementation and application of pay, reward, benefits and performance strategies to enable the University to deliver its strategic objectives. A key part of this role will be to ensure reward and benefits strategies and frameworks comply with University governance and regulations whilst undertaking salary and benefits benchmarking reviews on a regular basis.

Skills and experience

  • Are you a Chartered member of CIPD membership or possess equivalent experience in a specialist or analytical field?
  • Do you have experience specialist reward and benefits or an HR analytical role, operating with a high degree of autonomy within a regulated procedural context?
  • Do you possess proven experience of working in HR in a complex unionised organisation?
  • Are you a confident team player, with a proactive and flexible approach?
  • Do you have experience of collating and analysing statistical information?
