A Charity focusing on a specific health condition, they are dedicated to researching new treatments and cures, to the delivery of ongoing care and providing support and advice to its sufferers and their families

Description

The new Head of D+I will begin implementing the organisation's D+I agenda from scratch:

-Bringing specialist knowledge and expertise around EDI legislation and shape organisational policy and practice

-Developing and delivering strategic plans and programmes for D+I in similar (multi-site) organisations.
-Generating ideas and initiatives that deliver measurable change.

- Inspiring and supporting colleagues to become leaders for inclusion.
- Leading and building strong relationships within the organisation (including internal and external stakeholders)
- Facilitating and evaluating training and development to increase knowledge and skills in D+I.

- Being committed to and proactive around D+I best practice

- Creating and maintaining a culture of support and challenge, to nurture and empower colleagues to make necessary change.

Profile

The ideal candidate:
Brings specialist knowledge and expertise around EDI legislation and shape organisational policy and practice. They will also have experience of organisations with a Service User element.

Is skilled at:
- Developing and delivering strategic plans and programmes for D+I in similar (multi-site) organisations.
- Generating ideas and initiatives that deliver measurable change.
- Collaborative working

Is able to:
- Inspire, support and challenge colleagues to become leaders for inclusion.
- Lead and build strong relationships (including internal and external stakeholders)
- Facilitate and evaluate training and development to increase knowledge and skills in D+I.

Is committed to:
- D+I best practice and supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Creating and maintaining a culture of support and challenge, to nurture and empower colleagues to make necessary change.

Job Offer

- Permanent role

- Salary up to £54,000
- London based or remote (1-2 days in office post-Covid)
