We have an exciting opportunity for a Resourcing Business Partner to join us on a 12 month fixed term contract to implement and expand an exciting new initiative.
Burges Salmon Flex is the firm’s flexible resourcing solution aimed at providing a better service to our clients by engaging with candidates who are looking at working in more agile ways.
The initiative is gathering momentum and we have already developed a "pool" of talented individuals. We are keen to expand this further and promote the services both internally to stakeholders but also to our clients who are seeking innovative solutions to their resourcing challenges.
Effective stakeholder management will be key to success in this role. Working alongside the firm’s Partners and Lawyers you will develop an understanding of what the business needs and instil confidence in the adoption of flexible resourcing options. You will have the full support of the wider Resourcing team and People department as ultimately, we are all focussed on ensuring that resourcing requirements are met effectively and that we deliver the best solutions to the firm.
As well as internal stakeholder engagement, you will be an effective candidate manager. The pool’s utilisation is driven by the demands of the business and flow of work cannot be guaranteed. You will be responsible for ensuring that these talented people remain engaged with the Burges Salmon brand, even when they are not on an active assignment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to react to changing situations and demands are essential within this role. By its very nature, flexible resourcing can be very "last minute" and you will need to be comfortable working in this way.
Our six core values – Ambition, Collaboration, Commitment, Fairness, Quality and Respect - are at the heart of everything we do and help to shape our unique culture. As well as high quality work and exciting development opportunities, we offer our people a professional, friendly and sociable working environment with a real sense of community.
We are proud to have been awarded 'Happiest Work Place' at the National Happiness Awards in 2017, and in 2018 we were delighted to have been awarded ‘Best Law Firm’ at the Bristol Pride Awards for the second year running.
It’s important to us that our organisation represents the diverse community in which we operate and we encourage applications from people of all backgrounds and identities. As a Disability Confident employer we will provide a fully accessible recruitment process and offer an interview to disabled applicants who meet the minimum criteria for the job. We're committed to finding the right person for this role and are open to discussing flexible working, full time or part time working patterns.
