Employee Recognition Associate (EMEAR)

We are searching for an Employee Recognition Associate on a permanent basis. Working within the HR Specialist team (which operates as a Centre of Excellence across EMEAR), responsible for the ongoing coordination and development of Epson's existing recognition scheme and employee ideas scheme, whilst managing the development of additional recognition activities (e.g. long service recognition) to ensure the employee experience at Epson is continuously developing.

This role is based out of our Sales and Marketing offices at Westside, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer the annual employee recognition cycle, tracking, reporting and processing nominations for the recognition scheme
  • Co-ordination local and central committee structure/activities, including diary management and production of slides to support the committee meetings
  • Co-ordinate the EMEAR winners trip event and prizes, tracking spend
  • Cor-ordinate the employee ideas scheme including the tracking, processing and reporting of suggestions received
  • Diary management and production of slides to support the employee ideas scheme committee meetings, creation and updating of collateral
  • Development and delivery of both the recognition and employee ideas schemes communication plans and microsites
  • Production of collateral to support all communication and meeting requirements for Epson's recognition scheme and employee ideas scheme
  • Support of activities linked to long service and retirement recognition including central initiatives and support of local HR teams in the execution of long service recognition
  • Research and put in place best-fit solutions across EMEAR to increase employee engagement through the recognition of key life events (e.g. births, marriages)

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Graduate with some experience of working in an HR environment
  • Some experience of employee engagement and recognition activities would be an advantage
  • Strong planning, organising and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong excel skills to be able to combine multiple data reports from the HR Information System (Success Factors) to carry out data checks on recognition nominations and employee ideas scheme submissions
  • Experience of developing survey tools such as Smart Survey or Survey Monkey
  • Word and Power point skills to produce slide decks and document requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to be able to draft documents for issue to the Epson HR community, or draft intranet articles in support of activities
  • Confident in communicating across all levels of employee and to influence others to complete tasks on time
  • Team player to work as part of the HR Specialists team and wider HR team providing support to colleagues where required
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise conflicting deadlines and escalate concerns
  • Self-motivated and able to self-manage with the confidence to escalate to line manager issues and solutions that would prevent these deadlines being met
  • Able to work at pace - at times with limited support - managing high volumes of work with multiple conflicting priorities
