Description

Job Profile for the HR Partner Operations and Programs in London:

We are seeking a collaborative, thoughtful and innovative HR Partner Operations and Programs to oversee and manage the provision of HR services to employees, including payroll, benefits administration and immigration in the London office. In addition, the HR Partner Operations and Programs will be responsible for working with several programs to provide strategic and operational support across all offices, programs, departments and foundations. The HR Partner reports to the Deputy Director of Human Resources and collaborates closely with the global subject matter experts known as the "HR specialists" to execute HR global programs and standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

HR Operations

  • Ensure the provision of timely and accurate HR services to London-based employees and to other HR colleagues;

  • Advise managers and HR colleagues on local employment and compliance practices; maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging employment legislation and codes of practice;

  • Ensure compliance with human resources policies and procedures and develop local policies and processes as needed;

  • Oversee the HR preparation of the payroll, benefits program, and immigration processes, including maintenance of compliance of employee files and other pertinent employee information;

HR Partnership and Support - Specific Programs

  • Act as a single point of contact for employees and managers for specified programs and departments;

  • Provide support for a range of HR strategic and operations issues as agreed and planned with the Global Deputy HR Director;

  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the program strategies and build relationships with senior department heads to improve overall capacity to manage HR in the program;

  • Consult with managers and leaders to influence how they lead and manage people in a complex and transforming global work environment.

  • Actively participate in the design and planning of global HR programs and initiatives and lead the implementation for their Programs and Departments;

Profile

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have sifnificant experience as an HR Generalist, with experience leading and managing an HR operations team. Knowledge of UK labour law and employee relations experience is essential.

They will need:

  • The capacity to build trusting and collaborative relationships with HR colleagues, employees and managers at all levels, keen ability to coach and guide.

  • A working knowledge and expertise of multiple HR and organizational development disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational design, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, diversity and inclusion, workforce planning, and change management.

  • Experience streamlining and integrating human resources systems and processes, and leading local implementation of global initiatives.

  • Experience in HR transformation and building inclusive work environments, experience in the not-for-profit sector is a plus.

  • To be results driven and have a comprehensive approach to managing all HR processes from end to end; from administrative to highly strategic.

  • The ability to manage investigative processes.

  • The candidate must be able to travel internationally up to 25% of the time.
