We're currently working with a global professional services firm in Essex to find a Learning and Development Advisor to join the HR Team. The successful candidate will support the L&D manager in delivering the global strategy for the firm.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with the HRBP team, supporting the identification of learning needs

  • Programme manage global development programs, taking responsibility for the projects and proposing innovative solutions

  • Working with the L&D manager in embedding informal, social and performance support to complement formal learning as we evolve

  • Monitor the engagement with and impact of learning on business performance

  • Develop and maintain relationships with external providers, keeping up to date with changes in L&D and professional services

  • Collaborative working with other training and knowledge teams in the firm to ensure a seamless and aligned program

  • Assess how the firm can implement learning technologies to improve the program and system

This is a great opportunity to influence and impact the learning and development program within the company and suitable candidates will possess:

  • Previous experience in a learning and development consulting role, preferably within legal or the wider professional services sector

  • Experience working with learning technologies, training design and managing programs within a global environment

  • Highly organized and capable for working within a fast paced, busy environment

  • Strong communication skills, able to work as a trusted advisor

  • Comfortable with working in a remote team structure, with a strong network of learning providers

  • Experience of change management and talent management processes

  • CIPD and MBTI qualified or the equivalent
