The Role

This is a great opportunity to join a fast-moving business as a lean Business Improvement Manager working in the business' beverages unit to imbed lean principles and continuous improvement methods. The end goal is to transform and accelerate the way the business operates in order to achieve the set goals, targets and vision. The key is to ensure the operating model, processes and systems are aligned and fit for purpose and the people have the right capability to perform their roles.

This is a fast moving challenging opportunity with great exposure throughout the business. A challenge in this role is to communicate at all levels and influence their senior leadership teams. Ensuring you lead the change of transformation processes underpinned by lean principles, whilst ensuring the governance and integrity of the beverages business.

Responsibilities;

  • Develop and embed transformation changes across the business
  • Ensure people/teams understand the ROI in the changes and educate them about the Lean principles and add the added value this mind set encourages
  • Create governance structures for Business Improvement Initiatives
  • To identify, obtain and manipulate data to identify issues and trends, to turn in to insightful information that confirms and validates improvement activity

Ideal Profile

The ideal candidate would be someone coming from a fast moving business and have proven experience in an operations, retail or manufacturing background. With strong experience of leading large, complex, cross functional improvement projects leveraging the lean principles.

Experience;

  • Transformation and change management experience including the cultural aspects of the change
  • Proven experience of leading and delivering end to end successful change projects/programmes
  • Significant relationship building and influencing different levels within the business and through indirect reporting lines
  • Ability to identify, obtain and manipulate data to identify issues and trends, to turn into insightful information that confirms and validates improvement activity
  • Leveraging and influencing senior stakeholder management
  • Strong cross functional operational experience
