An independent management consultancy based in The City, are recruiting for a part-time HR Manager on a 10 month FTC. Reporting to the People Partner and Recruitment Partner, you will be responsible for:

  • Talent Management

    • Working with the People Partner and HR Partner group to develop and deliver HR initiatives in line with HR operating model priorities

    • Managing the talent pipeline ready for six-monthly reviews by all partners alongside the People Partner

    • Collating and preparing performance and development inputs from all partners, for employees, ahead of quarterly partner meetings

    • Advising partners on performance management

    • Providing pastoral/wellbeing support to all employees

    • Monthly firm meetings, updating on operational and project work, recruitment activity and any additional information

    • Supporting the Partners with HR communications

  • Employee Engagement

    • Annual Best Companies Survey

    • Organising re-induction and consultant away days

    • Managing any employee relations issues

    • Running HR induction for all new joiners

    • Ensuring legislative changes in both UK and US are reflected in relevant policies and procedures

    • Ensuring UK and US benefits packages remain competitive

  • HR Operations

    • Managing Personal Development

    • Regular review of training courses

    • Ensuring HR team are fully compliant for GDPR and INFO Sec

    • Managing the HR Assistant

  • Team Leadership

    • Providing management and support to Recruitment specialist

    • Conducting and administering performance development reviews

As HR Manager, you will possess:

  • Strong Generalist HR experience at least to management level

  • Previous experience of working with senior stakeholders, preferably within a partnership environment

  • Experience in reporting and budgeting

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
