HR Business Partner - Property

A UK based Property Investment and Development firm are looking for an HR Business Partner to join their team. Based predominantly in North London, this role will provide a comprehensive and proactive HR partnership where you will be supporting the COO and People Managers. As HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for:

  • Devising HR strategy and formulating a plan for implementation, with support from the HR Director

  • Creating strong and trusted relationships with people-managers and providing discreet, professional and commercial advice to people managers on a full range of employee issues

  • Working with managers and L&D Manager to ensure all new employees receive a comprehensive and professional introduction to the business and provide ongoing support to employees in their first six months of employment as required

  • Supporting managers with recruitment and talent planning to deliver a best in class candidate experience

  • Alongside senior management and support from L&D Manager, defining career pathways for roles in the business and outlining clear and transparent role responsibilities and requirements and supporting managers implementing development plans to support career progressions

  • Supporting the business to embed a performance culture, supported by effective use and understanding of the Performance and Development Review process through all levels of the business

  • Supporting COO with firm related HR communication and staff engagements, building on and responding to feedback from staff surveys and other forums

  • Collating and analysing management information to the COO and making recommendations and implementing actions

  • Acting as POC for employees seeking advice, supporting or guidance on work etc.

  • Managing all maternity, adoption, paternity and flexible working requests and ensuring employees are aware of and comply with policy

  • Working alongside wider HR team to support annual salary review process

  • Supporting HR Director with ad hoc HR initiatives, projects or transactional work

As HR Business Partner you will possess:

  • Strong academics, ideally to degree level

  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR practice

  • Proven experience in business partner roles within a customer facing business

  • Ability to build relationships and trust and establish rapport with managers and employees at all levels

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal

  • Strong knowledge and experience with MS Office suite
