HR Assistant

On-going temporary HR Assistant job in Norwich

Your new company
Our client based on the outskirts of Norwich are looking for on-going temporary HR Support. They are a large organisation and this individual will help a number of internal departments.

Your new role
This position is part of a team which is the first point of contact for HR policy and transactional related enquiries.

Key Accountabilities

  • Process leaver, out of department, change of terms and conditions and reference requests in line with standard operating procedures, quality standards and to agreed timelines. Updating employee records accurately in the Oracle HR system and drafting agreement/letter templates.
  • Investigate and respond to email enquiries from staff and managers in line with agreed timelines by email and by telephone, providing an exceptional customer experience.
  • Assist the recruitment team on an ad-hoc basis, sifting employment applications against key assessment criteria.


What you'll need to succeed
Candidates need to be confident in making decisions, have high levels of attention to detail, hold strong IT skills and be flexible in their approach to work. Previous experience in a HR role is desirable.

The successful candidate will be in the temporary position for at least a year.
