HR Manager for a prestigious Global leading automotive manufacturer

Your new role
The most senior point of contact for HR on site you will be responsible for the ongoing development of all HR activity, both generalist HR life cycle and projects including; employee branding, employee engagement, leadership and retention. You will be responsible for new starter on-boarding and exits, monitor of employee attendance, holiday and sickness that is in line with both local and global requirement. You will support internal coaching / mentoring activity to develop employees and support staff and line managers in all staff management, recruitment and succession planning.
You will be responsible for all confidential and sensitive HR files, maintaining documents for all employees ensuring all data complies with GDPR.
Support line managers to deliver training budgets including sourcing training providers and venues.
Maintenance of company car and pool fleet documentation, deputising the Site Administrator to cover purchase orders, travel, hospitality and corporate uniform. Work with senior stakeholders to plan organisational change in Business Units providing leadership on the people aspect. Support managers with any employee relation issues including performance management and grievance procedures. Drive forward employee engagement and the employee brand. Update key stakeholders and managers in HR related topics and subsequent advice.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a senior HR Advisor or HR Manager role and will be CIPD qualified (Level 3). You will be adept in planning and organisation skills and have the proven ability to meet time sensitive deadline lines. A talented communicator an influencer you will be the senior point of contact for all HR related issues on site locally, with the support of Global counterparts. You will be a driven and an extremely self-motivated individual who can work with minimum supervision.
