HR Advisor

I am working exclusively with a well-known retail company who have an international presence who are looking for a HR Advisor to join them on a permanent basis as soon as possible.

The role is a true generalist role with a strong focus on employee relations and employment law.

The role includes but is not limited to:

  • Provide second line support and guidance to the HR administration team

  • Work closely with HR colleagues across the business to monitor, review and update all policies in line with current legislation and best practice

  • Provide an advisory service to employees ensuring that they are fully aware of their rights and entitlements

  • Manage staff relationships, promptly respond to queries and manage expectations

  • Ensure Human Resources matters are handled fairly and consistently in line with legal and company requirements

  • Support the HR Manager with grievance, disciplinary and capability investigations and hearings

  • Support and develop recruitment campaigns, negotiate corporate recruitment accounts

  • Help to drive organisational performance by driving core business objectives

  • Work in partnership with line managers on performance management, employee relations, resourcing and staff management/development.

  • Preparing ad hoc and regular management reports supporting in improvement of management and monitoring performance management and sickness absence systems

You will need to have experience as a generalist with an interest in employee relations, ideally you will have experience with ER note taking and some exposure working on cases.

This role will suit someone looking to get more involved in ER and develop their skills whilst working in a great relaxed company who are very strong in developing their employees.
