I am currently recruiting for a HR Advisor for a 6 month fixed term contract for an Insurance firm based in the City of London. This exciting opportunity involves working with Senior Management and Head Office to define and implement the HR Strategy for the firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Inputting payroll data across 3 systems

  • Creating monthly pension sheets

  • Point of contact for new joiners - particularly completing HR inductions and any additional tasks

  • Managing lower level ER cases

  • Administration tasks around the organisations benefits

  • Creating monthly MI data

  • Responding to employee queries

  • Recruitment - initial discussions with managers on recruitment and handover to our recruitment outsource team

  • Build and sustain effective working relationships with the business

  • Facilitate the development of a high-performance culture and building organizational capability within the business

  • Work in partnership with the business and HR colleagues to ensure the delivery of services in line with the HR strategy and business strategies

Requirements:

  • Good awareness of the regulatory and legal framework as it related to HR

  • Strong customer focus

  • SAGE experience is desirable

  • CIPD Qualified

  • Excellent team player with a strong focus on working to

  • Manage own time to meet agreed targets; develops plans for short-term work activities in own area

  • Ability to remain professional and calm even under extreme pressure and frustration

  • Ability to present a positive image of the HR department always
