Following a review of the HR and OD directorate, the teams have been restructured so that the HR team will focus on operational employee relations matters and the OD team will be expanded to enable proactive effort on a range of issues including recruitment, succession planning, talent management and learning and development. Overseen by the Head of OD & People Management, there are two newly created vacancies as part of the structure; HR & Talent Manager (24-month FTC) and HR & OD Administrator (permanent).
HR & Talent Manager (24-month FTC) £42,692-£50,974. Plus LW £3,039.
As the HR & Talent Manager, you will work in cohesion with colleagues and stakeholders to lead on organisational performance, with a specific focus on talent management, playing a vital role in the union achieving their overarching strategic outcomes.
By identifying skills gaps and using your ability to coach and influence managers, you will design and implement effective learning and organisational development initiatives, together with establishing robust resourcing plans and career pathways. Furthermore, you will be hands on in driving forward new ways of working, making sure to engage and motivate others along the journey.
To be successful in your application, you will demonstrate experience working in a similar role where you have been instrumental in developing recruitment processes and fostering talent, alongside project managing OD related initiatives.
HR & OD Administrator (permanent) £25,831- £30,842. Plus LW £3,039.
The HR & OD Administrator plays a critical role in assisting the team with a variety of resourcing and learning/ organisational development initiatives.
It will be your role to ensure a seamless candidate journey during the recruitment cycle including; advertising roles, scheduling interviews, responding to applicant queries and enabling an effective onboarding process.
With the unique opportunity to concurrently support learning and OD programmes, you will facilitate all staff training, creating an approachable learning culture across the organisation, whist also providing key project support to talent management strategies and employee engagement initiatives.
To be successful in your application, you will be an experienced administrator (within HR, recruitment, OD or similar) possessing a positive attitude with exceptional communication and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet changing requirements.
