The Head of HR will focus on supporting the National business to create and deliver their People Strategy in line with their specific needs and must support Reach in achieving its overall strategy to become a growing media business.

A leading media business based in Canary Wharf.

Description


Work with local MD to create a robust people plan to support the delivery of the strategy

· Transformation Plans

· Employee Engagement Score improvement

· Attraction, development and retention of key talent

· Consult with the Unions to build a string working relationship and effective communication channel to enable work and projects to be delivered


Ensure local business manage costs and maximise revenue

· All cost saving projects delivered on time and revenue growth is visible

· ER relation issues are managed and a sensible and pragmatic approach to risk is taken


Provide development solutions to drive high performance

· Increase in performance ratings and quality of work delivered by Reach staff


Work Closely and supportively with HR functions and colleagues

· Contribute to the development of HRSS team - sharing knowledge and expertise

· Work collaboratively with HRBP population sharing best practise

· Actively engage with functional specialist to ensure consistency of approach and to deliver projects to the Nationals business areas

Profile


Required key skills (functional/technical)

· Good generalist understanding of all HR areas and comfortable to participate and input to develop and improve

· Experience of working with a unionised workforce and dealing with unions


Required qualifications/experience

· Graduate

· CIPD qualified

· Experience at Senior HRBP/Head of HR in complex environment

Job Offer

£75,000 - £80,000 plus bens
