A technical services firm that is part of a wider Group of businesses and backed by a FTSE 100. They're an ambitious business that has grown via acquisition in recent years and have a diverse customer base in London.
You will be accountable for leading the London HR team, comprising of a HR Advisor and HR Administrator, and developing and delivering the people strategy for the London & Southern population of 250 people. Your population will often be based at customer sites, most of which are in central London, and you split your time between sites and the office. You will develop a succession plan, write and deliver training to up-skill managers as well as promote strategies that encourage engagement and a high performing culture. You will challenge business leaders re. the management of their people and enable them to make informed decisions re. delivering their people strategy.
The HRD is looking to appoint an established HR Partner who has proven experience in building relationships and influencing senior stakeholders in an operational setting - i.e. facilities, construction, retail, security type setting. Naturally he is also looking for a proven track record in all generalist people matters. As the HRD is not based in London they are only considering established HR BP's.
Remuneration will include a base salary of £55,000 - £61,500, car allowance of £5,580, 8% pension, 25 days holiday.
