The Stand alone HR Manager will report on a functional to the Head of HR on all HR activities and will have an operational reporting responsibility to the UK Managing Director.

Description

  • Responsibility for all HR requirements in the London/UK

  • Coordination with local heads of department on an active basis to plan recruitment and support any HR issues

  • Ensure compliance with GDPR requirements and maintain strict confidentiality at all times

  • Ensure all personnel records are in place and kept up to date

  • Monitor and advise the MD on any legislative changes that may require consideration for the UK business

  • Provide HR advice when required to ensure that we actively plan and manage any HR issues

  • Liaise with member company HR functions to share best practice and interface generally

  • Manage the recruitment process

  • Ensure all T&C's and staff handbook are kept up to date

  • Oversee and maintain the integrity and accuracy of holiday and sickness records

  • Liaise with the London based finance team to ensure all salary and other benefits for staff are coordinated and accurate

  • Coordinate with finance to ensure staff receive on a timeous basis their salary slips, P60 and P11d details

  • Lead and provide guidance on the staff performance review process, ensure all reviews are completed on schedule

  • Keep market awareness of salary and benefits

  • Relationships with key organisations in support of the HR function

  • Participate in the office move work streams to support planning all HR related activities that will impact on all staff

  • Coordinate with the central group HR functions reporting on the HR services in the UK

Profile

  • MCIPD

  • Proven HR generalist experience is expected across all spheres listed in the job responsibilities including HR Admin

  • Highly organised and experience using an HR System/database

  • Exceptional organisational and communication skills

  • Experience in supporting and developing managers through change

  • Be agile to navigate the pace and change of a SME and future growth

Job Offer

£40,000 - £45,000 plus benefits.
