My client now has a fantastic opportunity for a TUPE specialist to join them on a 6 month contract basis.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead people elements of TUPE activity within the UK project

  • Working as an integral part of the People team throughout the change program.

  • Overseeing the HR components of TUPE to ensure appropriate cost analysis and HR risk management is taken into account

  • Responsible for ensure detailed project plans are kept up to date

  • Responsible for ensuring that our policies and practices are compliant with TUPE and wider employment legislation.

  • Management of the TUPE transfer including planning, consultation & due diligence such at the appropriate time it is required

  • Providing creative offer comparisons and solutions with regards to the protection of existing terms and conditions of transferring individuals.

  • Working closely with the Recommissioning team to ensure functional activity is aligned with business area priorities

COMPETENCES

  • Demonstrate experience in managing complex employee relations cases, including redundancies, restructures, complex case management especially related to TUPE.

  • Experience of managing large scale TUPE activity.

  • Excellent knowledge of employment legislation with an up to date understanding of relevant case law and HR best practice.

  • A commercial and pragmatic approach to providing HR solutions with a track record of identifying and delivering practical and innovative HR solution.

  • Consultative approach with professional communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Self-starter with a proactive attitude and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
