The Senior HR Advisor is a key cog in the HR team. Reporting directly into the Regional HR Manager the role will be centred around advising on the ER and OD front.
Our client are one of Oxford's longest standing establishments. Employing over 1000 people and situated in the heart of the City, they are going through a period of change and looking to grow their internal HR team. They provide an array of services to both children and adults as well as providing care to the homeless.
Advise and support managers on organisational change including restructures, redundancy programmes, outsourcing and in sourcing, organisational/job redesign, analysing and advising on complex Employee Relations cases.
Support managers to develop their confidence, knowledge and skills in dealing with people management and employee relations matters such as performance management.
Dealing with a range of complex and contentious matters requiring support, persuasion, advocacy and sensitivity, within the application of operational guidelines.
Challenge, influence and persuade managers to ensure compliance with legal and best practice standards
Good IT and administration skills with a sound understanding of the legal requirements in handling personal and sensitive data and ability to use Excel spreadsheets to manipulate data.
- CIPD qualified to graduate level with up to date knowledge of employment law and employee relations best practice.
- Considerable experience gained from at least five years of providing professional advice on employee relations matters and organisational change
- Proven track record of resolving conflict, diagnosing the root cause and developing solutions including advising on formal procedures where informal resolution is not achieved.
