A leading global Accountancy firm is looking for an HR Advisor to join their team. Working in the HR Manager team, the HR Advisor will have responsibility for providing business focused and best practice HR support. As the HR Advisor, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Working closely with the Senior HR Managers and provide operational HR support to specific client groups

  • Establishing and maintaining influential relationships with key stakeholders

  • Acting as primary point of contact for all business support and trainee issues

  • Providing HR support for projects within the client group and/or firm-wide projects as required

  • Ensuring delivery of a pro-active and first-class HR service to the designated client group, leveraging the support from the wider HR team where appropriate

  • Possessing a good knowledge of the CoE's

  • Resolving people issues to deliver commercially pragmatic outcomes, escalating as appropriate

  • Taking a commercial, considered stance t HR related risk assessment linking in with the Senior HR Manager and ER team and escalating issues as appropriate

  • Advising on and coordinating transfers

  • Leading on informal ER matters

  • Conducting exit interviews and producing reports

  • Supporting Senior HR Manager during cyclical events

  • Managing coordination of the promotion process

  • Deputizing for the Senior HR Manager

As the HR Advisor, you will possess:

  • Education, ideally to degree level

  • Previous exposure to employee relations issues and good knowledge of employment legislation and best practice

  • Previous experience of advising Managers on policies and procedures

  • Proven experience of developing effective processes and suggesting new ways of working

  • Excellent MS Office skills
