Regional HR Business Partner (Home-based)

We're looking to recruit four exceptional, HR Business Partners to deliver effective and pragmatic people solutions and be drivers for change across a defined region at all levels, but specifically senior management.

It's an exciting time to join the RSPCA as we launch our People Strategy to ensure the Society has a highly motivated workforce with the right skills operating in a progressive, open and empowering culture.  This role is fundamental to the realignment of the People & Culture department and creation of a strong people model throughout the organisation.

We’re looking for people who are independent and strategically-minded with excellent communication skills and proven track records of responding to complex challenges and delivering change.  The roles cover multiple sites and a willingness to travel/be on the road is essential.

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong business partnering experience in a multi-sited organisation with exposure to operations teams.

  • Experience within a retail or FMCG industry would be advantageous but not essential.

  • Strong employee and industrial relations experience, ideally having worked in a unionised environment with complex challenges.

  • Ability to develop strong and trusting relationships across the Society based upon in-depth understanding of business/organisation strategies and challenges and providing comprehensive people plans to support these organisation goals.

  • Extensive experience in influencing and persuading senior managers to embrace and adopt good people practice and change/do things differently.

  • Experience of working to support and influence managers, ideally within an operations environment.

  • Good understanding of the importance and dynamics of talent attraction and management, employee relations, organisational development, reward and training and coaching etc.

  • Experience of working in a changing organisation and having partnered managers, team and individuals through that change.

  • CIPD qualified
