A permanent, newly created HR Manager role based in Croydon.

Hands on, stand-alone role reporting directly to the CFO

Client Details

A fast moving company in the pharmacy sector with over £50 million turnover. They have multiple sites across England and are looking for an individual to establish a HR function in this rapidly growing and changing environment.


  • HR Manager will report directly to the CFO
  • Support employees across multiple sites as and when required
  • Implement HR policies and procedures
  • Establish a HR function from the ground up in collaboration with senior stakeholders
  • Manage pay roll, recruitment, TUPE/ acquisition and advise managers on basic HR procedures
  • Implement performance management processes and work force planning


  • HR Manager able to adopt a flexible approach to working in a rapidly growing and changing company
  • Proven ability to work autonomously, using own initiative in a stand alone role
  • Experience in retail or pharmaceuticals desirable
  • TUPE/ acquisition experience essential
  • Ability and willingness to travel nationally
  • Full driving licence with access to a vehicle
  • CIPD qualified

Job Offer

£37,000 - £45,000 plus benefits
