HR Advisor

The Oakleaf Partnership are working with a City based Publishing Company who are currently seeking an HR Advisor to join their expanding HR Operations team.

Duties and resposibilities will include:

Respond to HR queries on a range of topics including benefits, policies and general HR queries

Provide administration support with Joiners, Leavers and Amendments

Oversee maintenance of employee files on HR Systems, E-Files and hard copy

Provide peer review for HR Administrator work

Co-ordinate and support with the delivery and improvement of the HR Induction

Payroll and Benefits Administration - Work with the HR Administrators to ensure payroll and employee benefit programmes are accurately administered and run smoothly, dealing with queries and resolving issues

Maintain relationships with employee benefit providers

Complete payroll audit tasks

Assist the HR Operations Manager with projects and ad-hoc tasks, including Business Continuity Planning, managing risk across HR and IT security risk for HR Systems

Provide support and advice in the absence of the HR Operations Manager

Use HR systems to find information, adjust records and resolve issues

Provide support and coaching to HR Administrators

Assist and manage ad-hoc projects as directed by the Heads of HR / HR Director and use initiative to suggest and implement positive change

Work closely with Heads of HR and international teams to support with UK HR

Assist with HR run training programmes as and when required

Support with first line ER issues by managing cases when needed, this includes but not limited to chairing meetings, providing line manager advice, coaching and training

Key Competencies / Technical Skills

Experience of working in HR Operations or HR Shared Services

Detailed and thorough understanding of ER processes and legislation

Customer Service focused

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Ability to manage priorities

Ability to manage a high volume of administrative tasks

An ability to anticipate and plan

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
