Reward Manager

Oakleaf Partnership are recruiting for a FTSE 250 Technology business recruiting for their very first dedicated reward hire. This business is experiencing exciting and consistent growth, which has lead to the requirement of a reward professional to own Reward and Analytics across the business.

The client is ideally looking for an established Reward manager or someone with the right attitude to take the step up. Your role will be very much acting as a reward business partner, establishing relationships from Graduate level through to facing off to the CEO directly. Good stakeholder management experience, and the ability to understand the business priorities (often conflicting) is essential. As this is the very first reward hire, you will be expected to be able to operate and deliver autonomously, however you have a large HR team to support, and they have been managing all reward matters to date therefore will be able to help. You will need to be able to work with the business in a credible and knowledgeable fashion, knowing the right questions to ask to enable to reward strategy to progress from where is it currently.

The ideal candidate will have good experience of operational reward (across total compensation). The benefits offering is fairly established therefore this piece would be focusing on the BAU work such as renewals etc. Currently the business has no real compensation structure therefore you will need to assess and implement a framework that's right for the business. This business is focused on sales and most of the employees are commission based. The ideal candidate will have operated in this environment or have experience of managing commission and sales incentives. You will also be expected to work closely with the Exec community and help prepare Remco documents etc.

A good knowledge of HRIS is always helpful, and you will be involved with lots of project work including assessing future systems and identifying what is required to support with the future growth plans of the business.
