Oakleaf Partnership are currently working with a fantastic client based in Reading who are looking to appoint a HR generalist to join their outgoing, fun and hardworking HR team.

This is a broad role with the opportunity to lead on ER cases, drive HR systems projects and manage HR reporting as well as overseeing the day-to-day employee lifecycle processes for the Corporate team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Key point of contact in the business for HR related queries and ER issues, working with managers and their teams, to ensure a positive employee experience

  • Oversee day-to-day employee lifecycle activities from contract requests to processing leavers

  • Manage and coordinate HR processes including budgeting and forecasting, performance review and salary review processes

  • Analysing and reporting on people data both within the Brand and group providing insightful management reports, dashboards and metrics

  • Act as the ambassador for HR projects such as the implementation of HR systems, and policies.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a HR Advisor within a fast paced and dynamic environment, ideally within a large organisation

  • Strong ER experience, able to lead cases end to end as well as advise and coach managers

  • Confident managing senior and challenging stakeholders

  • Digital and data minded, ideally with experience using Workday

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

  • Confident written and verbal communication skills

  • Reliability, excellent attention to detail, and self-checking instinct to deliver high quality standards

  • Experience managing projects and workload to meet deadlines

  • Ability to build relationships and question, challenge and influence at all levels

  • Strong team player
