Head of Reward & Benefits

As Head of Reward this role will lead on strategy and development for a rewards & benefits structure across a complex matrix environment. This is a setup role, so when the person leaves post the business will work with the structure that has been created.

Description

As Head of Reward and Benefits you will develop and implement an effective strategy, associated frameworks and policies to reflect best practise and support the delivery of an affordable, effective and valued Reward and Benefits proposition to support the Diversity and Inclusion Strategy, People Strategy and Corporate Plan.

You will design, deliver and continually review the employee value proposition at a strategic level including: pay, terms and conditions, pensions, all colleague benefits and role sizing.

Profile

Essential

Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing reward and benefits strategy, solutions and propositions within a large complex and unionised organisation.

Successful track record of pay review modelling, options and pay negotiations with Trade Unions.

Experience of managing multiple pensions at a strategic level to ensure regulatory compliant and delivering against a pensions review strategy.

Excellent attention to detail and strong and demonstrable analytical skills, including the ability to critically analyse complex information, and experience of providing meaningful management information and recommendations. Technical expertise in the appropriate tools required to analyse reward related information and cost solutions.

CIPD qualified, or Reward / Benefits equivalent qualification.

Deep technical expert with comprehensive up to date knowledge of Employment Legislation and best practice relating to Reward, Benefits and Pensions.

Demonstrable experience of producing clear, well-structured reports and recommendations for senior leadership teams, including Board level, particularly General Remuneration Committees.

Salary on offer £63,176 - £69,826
