HR Assistant

A top UK law firm is looking for an HR Assistant to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • General administration support to the HR Advisory team on various projects as required

  • Produce flexible working and change of terms letters

  • Record and monitor sickness absence of employees

  • Attend investigator and redundancy consultation meetings and other employee relations meetings

  • Manage the probation process from start to finish, updating the HR system with completed probation

  • Oversee the new joiner induction process

  • Liaising closely with the HR Support team in delivering administration

This person will:

  • Have experience of working in a corporate or professional services environment

  • Have HR experience

  • Have excellent attention to detail

  • Have excellent organisational skills

  • Be able to deal with confidential matters with discretion

  • Be able to work in a team and draw on strong working relationships
