The Oakleaf Partnership are working with one of the world's leading Technology and Trading Companies, based in London. We are seeking an HR Advisor who will be managing employee relations effectively. You will provide guidance and support on employee relations matters and manage cases from performance management and conduct to induction and parental leave. You will work closely with line managers to provide them with guidance to build their knowledge surrounding key people processes to ensure they understand what they need to do. You will also play a key role in delivering training, policy updates and payroll. You will work as part of a small team of HR professionals, supporting with the day to day operations, HR projects, employee engagement and L&D initiatives.
Working with the HR Manager to review, amend and successfully manage HR policies and procedures.
Creating, maintaining and managing reliable internal HR processes with the HR Assistant to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Supporting day to day HR activities i.e. starters, leavers, contractual changes and payroll submission & quality checks.
Ensuring that all compliance/regulatory matters are managed efficiently and appropriately.
To develop and provide comprehensive management information reports and statistics for HR and finance planning.
Support the HR Manager and HR colleagues to align HR strategy with business objectives.
Contributing and leading on HR projects as agreed with the HR Manager.
Other ad hoc duties as required.
Managing and building relationships with all stakeholders to give sound, professional advice on HR issues.
Manage employee relations issues e.g. advice to managers on performance matters and any disciplinary issues.
Advising stakeholders on current employment legislation and communicating forthcoming changes and their impact.
Day-to-day generalist support and advice to our mid-tier managers across the business, along with supporting with the cyclical HR activity i.e. Performance Review cycle.
Working with stakeholders to develop the Sporting Group's people capability through the implementation of workshops and development interventions.
Consulting, influencing and coaching line managers on people management matters to develop knowledge and capability.
Intelligence gathering on good people management practices internally and externally to raise awareness within the business of best practice.
Responding to the needs of the business and critically reviewing improvements and related costs.
Implementation and application of HR Policy.
