A law firm based in the City of London is looking for an HR Advisor to join their team on a 3-month fixed-term contract.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Provide first line response to partners, managers and employees on all HR issues

  • Employee relations - disciplinaries/grievance hearings, investigation meetings and performance improvement plans

  • Managing the maternity/paternity/shared parental leave process for all employees

  • Responsible for both fee-earner and business support recruitment along with the wider team

  • Assisting the Graduate Recruitment team with assessment centres

This person will:

  • Have the ability to work effectively with and influence partners and others

  • Have professional experience in professional services, ideally a law firm

  • Have strong attention to detail

  • Be able to take responsibility for and lead specific projects

  • Be degree educated (2:1+) or equivalent
