Our not-for-profit client is recruiting a HR Business Partner for a 12 month FTC maternity cover in their growing HR Team. Located just outside of Brighton, you will be working with 5 other HR Business Partners and line managing 3 HR Associates.
Your new role
As a HR Business Partner you will provide extensive business partnering provision in relation to developing effective people management practice across to organisation in support of its strategic and operational plans. You will be engaging and advising managers on employee relations issues, employment law and performance/grievance/disciplinary issues to ensure compliance with legislation, policy and good practice.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in the role you will need to demonstrate a track record of success in a HR advisory of business partnering role within a large, complex organisation. Proven experience in supporting and advising on the management of change and project management whilst working within a unionised environment. You must be CIPD qualified or equivalent.
What you'll get in return
In return you will receive a salary of £33,000-£39,000 plus 25 days holiday, pension, flexible working, staff discounts, cycle to work scheme, life assurance and child care vouchers.
