HR Operations Advisor

Oakleaf are currently working with a global Asset Managers with the appointment of a HR Operations Advisor.

This role is responsible for the provision of first and second line support for employees and managers; assisting with the development of HR policies and procedures; acting as first level support for the HR Administrators in HR and Payroll matters; partnering with the wider HR team in the delivery of HR projects; providing ER support for the HR Business Partners and assisting the HR Operations Manager build the capabilities and strengths of the HR Operations Team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the monthly payroll activities
  • Provide first level support for employment related queries and act as an escalation point for the HR Administrators
  • Facilitate employee transfers, promotions, international secondments and termination events
  • Coordinate temporary staff recruitment, work experience and intern placements
  • Coordinate employee lifecycle including onboarding, flexible working and core absences including maternity and shared parental leave
  • Assist the HR Business Partners with ER and performance management matters
  • Maintain system and data
  • Coordinate internal immigration activities including right to work/visa requirements
  • Projects: SMCR, office moves, process/policy improvements

Candidate Requirements:

  • Highly organised with strong administration skills
  • Payroll experience is required
  • SMCR experience would be desirable
  • Ability to work well under the pressure of changing demands
  • Knowledge of HR policies and procedures, and a basic understanding of employment law
  • Positive "can do" attitude
