When you work with BPP, you will be part of a business that really believes in supporting your personal and professional development.
To enable BPP to meet its stretching growth strategy we need to create a high performing culture and workforce. Current HR and L&D processes are in need of review and improvement to ensure that our people can be the best they can be and have a high quality employee experience. Improving management capability will enable HR to be a more strategic function within BPP and improve employee engagement.
What you’ll do
Reporting to the Head of People Transformation & Capability and working closely with the wider HR team, you will be a Talent and Learning subject matter expert supporting internal BPP leaders and also consulting with external BPP clients when required.
A key responsibility will be to ensure that our internal employees receive a high standard of development and create targeted talent pools to create pipelines for internal progression opportunities. You will identify capability gaps, curate and deploy excellent learning interventions, coach and develop BPP identified talent and enable our HR business partners to effectively support their business areas with excellent MI and solutions.
Additionally, you will work collaboratively with the Digital Learning Partner to create a curated and targeted digital learning offering and environment for internal employees. You will deliver leading edge internal and external training, demonstrating measurable improvements to management and leadership capability at BPP.
Ideally with a minimum of MCIPD or equivalent and a relevant coaching qualification, you will have experience of creating talent management processes and developing leaders through career coaching, action learning sets and a range of psychometric tools. Additionally, you will be experienced in developing competency frameworks and identifying skills gaps and training needs analysis.
With excellent change management and proven partnering skills to inspire and motivate others as well as proven ability to make and implement tough decisions when required, you will also possess the commercial acumen required to support budget and supplier management.
With outstanding communication skills, your strong knowledge and understanding of the employee lifecycle and ability to coach and support other HR leads to develop aspects of the service will be key to this role.
This post is part of a small team so high energy, drive and personal gravitas is essential to ensure the team makes an impact and can leverage other expertise across the BPP group.
