Resourcing Advisor

As a Resourcing Advisor, you will work with managers across the organisation to provide an efficient and effective recruitment service for permanent, casual, temporary or self employed workers to meet business needs.  You will support, advise and coach managers to recruit effectively and appropriately within innovative, best practice recruitment guidelines ensuring compliance with employment legislation.  

In this is busy and varied role, you will contribute to continuous improvement of the Resourcing function, by taking on specific objectives and by contributing to the collation, analysis and commentary of Resourcing KPIs.  You will also line manage up to 2 Resourcing / Recruitment Administrators who are responsible for pre-employment checking and onboarding and you will work collaboratively to ensure both quality and speed.

You may have worked directly in an HR or Resourcing team before, but we also welcome applications from those with relevant transferable experience; for example recruitment experience in relation to volunteers, temporary staff or perhaps from recruiting staff to a team you have managed.

You will have experience of the use of different attraction and selection methods and an ability to work creatively to attract the best quality candidates for all roles.  To succeed in this role you will be confident managing a busy and varied workload of reactive and longer term tasks, have excellent communication and decision making skills.  Some understanding of issues impacting on resourcing in the social housing/homeless/care/charity sectors is required, along with an interest in using IT solutions to support effective working.

You will be based in our Head Office near Tower Hill, London, with occasional travel to support regional locations across England as required, although please note that in approximately 12 months our Head Office is likely to relocate to Stratford.
